The questions people actually ask

Do I need OBS?

No. Start your LIVE, share your screen, open the phone version of your link and tap once: it goes fullscreen with sound. On an iPhone, add it to your home screen first (Share, then Add to Home Screen) and open it from there. That is the most common setup, and everything is built to work that way.

Do my viewers need to install anything?

No. They type in chat and they are in. Gifts and likes work the same way — whatever they already do on your stream.

Does my account have to be live?

Yes, at the moment you press Go live. Before that you can run Test mode, which fills the arena with simulated viewers so you can rehearse every effect.

Can I use my own background?

Yes. Paste an image URL in settings and it is drawn behind the arena, showing through the floor like a window.

Is any of this posting to my account?

No. The connection is read-only. We receive the public events your live room broadcasts and send nothing back.

What does it cost?

10 of our games are free, no card. 4 are Pro games: $9.99 each, paid once — no subscription, no monthly fee — and yours for life. A Pro game is free to build and test; you buy it only to go live. Any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live is added at checkout. If you had already set a game up before it became Pro, it stays free for you.

Can TikTok restrict my LIVE for running a game?

It can, with any tool. TikTok's LIVE Monetization Guidelines let it switch off gifts on a LIVE it judges to be gift-baiting or left unattended. What keeps a host safe is the same everywhere: be on stream yourself, talk to your viewers, react to the game, and never pressure anyone into sending a gift.
